CURSE YOU CLOUDY DAYS!!

I really want to play with all my new makeup and polish, but I don't want to take pics without the sun, and the sun has been gone for days due to clouds and snow. GRRRRRR. I'm going to give it the weekend. If the sun doesn't come out by Monday, I'm just going to have to live without pretty sunny pictures. Sigh.

So today I'm just going to share some random pics.




First up, I started using my Doctor Who Diary I got from a friend. Started on the 16th. Been using it as my checklist for things I need to do. It's working nicely, although I was really bummed to see that the ink from the pages transfer when you write on it. Some of the pages have a full page of color, so that ink will transfer over to the next page when you write on it. Sigh. Here's a pic of an example:

It's a pretty lame example, because you can barely see it, but I didn't want to show you the page that transferred badly, because I don't need you knowing the mess I make when I write checklists. lol.

So essentially, next week's page is awfully messy looking already. Yay.



Five more pictures, I decided to participate in the #IggleBugs365 for a bit. It's an IGGPPC project where you're supposed to take a picture every day. I don't want to feel pressured to take a picture every day, so I might only participate a week at a time. This is one of the weeks.


January 15th, I went grocery shopping and found these shoestring potatoes on accident! I've looked for them before without success, so I was too happy to find them on Wednesday.

They just remind me of my childhood. My brother and I used to eat them so often, usually while playing Tecmo Bowl on NES. lol. And I used to throw them in my omelettes with cheese when I was like, 9.  I cannot wait to do that again. Aaaah memories.



January 16th I used one of the inspiration prompts (They have seven optional prompts every week to help you in case you don't know what to take a picture of.)  The prompt was "a cup of _____"

I chose to do a cup of warm apple cider for a cloudy winter day. It was delicious. Mmm. And how about my fabulous mug? My mum got it for me last year. Teehee.


January 17th, the prompt I used was "a plate". I made myself breakfast and took a pic of it.

I'm honestly not sure what this breakfast is called. Because I made it up. It's supposed to be a take on Eggs Benedict, except I'm aiming to make my own "biscuits" for it. This was my first attempt. The recipe still needs tweaking before I share it. Plus I'm going to need some meat for the dish. Ham or bacon is the normal eggs benedict, but I might try a lunchmeat of some sort. And yeah, if you're familiar with Eggs Benedict, you'll notice my hollandaise is lumpy. Yep. I microwaved it. A bit too long . lol. NEXT time I'll get it right. Maybe. And then I'll share the recipe with you. :)


Today I used the prompt "precious" as I took a picture of a couple of adorable tiny snowflakes on my Urban Decay Primer Potion.

I had taken the makeup outside today to try and take some wintery pictures, but most of the snow just melted once they landed on the makeup, so it just looked wet. Except for these.
