Hello Blog World

Hello all! Long time no write. Almost a month. I had a good excuse. Honest. I was working on my ED present contest entry thinger whatsit. Good news though, I'm finished!!!

Behold the box ready and awaiting to be sent away. Hoorah. HOORAH!!! Hmm... you may be wondering... "Why the HELL is the box halfway cow printed?!" Yes... well... I was having difficulty finding a box that fit the dimensions I was looking for. The only ones I could find were half covered in cow print. So, there we go. That answers that, right? Not really...

Okay so a couple years back, I decided I wanted to turn my basement area in to more of a "room." My brilliant idea for "walls" was to hang boxes up... with duct tape. Naturally, I didn't want the boxes to look like boxes, so I painted them cow print. Only one side, because I didn't care about the other side. So the idea was lovely, but the method of attachment wasn't. The wall lasted maybe ten minutes before it came falling down. I reattached it with almost an entire roll of duct tape, only to have it fall down again, this time knocking things over in the process. Scrap the cow print box wall. I eventually went with tacking up fabric. And kept the boxes in case they could be used in the future.

Enter the future. So the box is only half embarrassing. But it adds character right? I cut it down to fit a bit more snuggly. It was 15 inches tall, and my project is only 10, so It's down to about 10 1/2.

I shipped it out this morning. I wish I could say I think not of it, but to be honest, I won't stop thinking about it until it gets there.

Moving on... so last year, around mid August I think - shortly after Britney died - I was hanging out with a friend and her family to try and get my mind off things. We went to a teacher store (her mother's a teacher) and they had webkins on display. One was of a springer spaniel. Which totally set me off. I stood bawling in an aisle for a few minutes, before being able to move on. What's worse, I realized I really wanted that webkinz. I had no cash on me, but I had hoped I could come up with the money soon. I couldn't. I had to wait until near December, when I had money for Christmas. And by then, the store had different webkinz. And none of the other stores that have them had that one. I looked on ebay, and they were selling for twice the price! Twice the price PLUS shipping. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on it, and told myself I might try to find it again next Christmas.

Well, the other night, I was searching for a small bottle of elmers glue at the store. I deemed it important enough to try two Walmarts, three gas stations, Jewel, and a meijer to find the right size. NO ONE HAS SMALL BOTTLES ANYMORE. I guess elmers glue is so cheap nowadays that they only sell it in the normal and large sizes. But anyhoo, I was wandering meijer - okay so big stores like maijer and walmart are so large they have two entrances, but they close one when it's really late at night, and it's always the one that's closest to the side I want to go to. So I gotta walk all the way across the huge store... yep... I'm lazy... ANYWAY, I was wandering BACK to the stupid exit because I couldn't find the glue, I walked passed their selection of webkinz and automatically searched for the pup... but no luck, and I wasn't surprised. What did surprise me is when I saw the pup stuffed behind a big yellow plushie easter duck. !! I couldn't believe it. But I only had five bucks on me and it was ten. :( So I drove all the way home to beg my mum for ten bucks. At 4am. Hahaha.

Behold my puppy. Isn't she lovely? Normally my stuffed animals (yeah so I still like stuffed animals... sue me) are "male" - even the pink frilly ones - but seeing as how this pup reminds me of Britney, she's a she. I haven't named her yet.

Moving on... So for Christmas my dad got another light saber for his collection. He then decided the collection needed to be moved somewhere it could be appreciated. It was originally over the fireplace in the "family room" which is basically empty and is only used when my brother has friends over or if I need more space for something. He moved them to his room.

Looks pretty neat. I had tried to take a pic of them before lit and then after, but I somehow had the camera set on something else and it didn't work. I didn't feel like taking another pic. lol. I should though, cuz when they're off, and the light's on, you can see the Yoda and Darth Vader sitting on either side of Yoda's lightsaber. Hee. They're so cute. And they've got lightsabers too! If I remember, I think I'll go and take some pics of them. lol. They don't normally come with lightsabers. My dad got himself these lightsaber stylus pens, but then found out his phone doesn't work with them, so he gave them to the toys instead. Hehe.

Here's a couple of older pics... Superbowl Sunday I went to a friend's house and had Strawberry... er... daiquiris? I think.
And this is her kitty, Chase. Whom does not like to stay still for the camera. He sits like a meerkat, or a gopher or something. It's incredibly cute, I should have taken a pic of it. Next time. lol.

Next up, an adorable emote.

A friend on one of the sites I used to play on made it for me. Then another friend animated it. So cute. I have a non-animated version, and one that's animated slightly different, but that one's my fave. Heeee.

So I can't recall pictures of my puter desk. The only one I could really find is this one of Linny:
Notice the lovely flat screen moniter with the nice wireless keyboard to match? Oh, those were the days. A few weeks ago, I noticed that every time I turn on my puter, my monitor wouldn't turn on immediately as it did before. The little power light would blink green, and eventually turn on. I tend to do a LOT on my puter at once, so I turn it off at night to cool off. But every time I'd turn it on in the morning, the monitor would take longer and longer to turn itself on. It started taking half an hour for it to pop up. So I started getting afraid it would eventually never turn on. So my solution? I stopped turning my puter off at night. It seemed the perfect solution for a while, since I was forcing myself to stay away from it to work on my project. But now that I'm around more, I figured I should give my puter a rest last night. And this morning, 2 hours after I turned my puter on... the monitor was still not working. So I went down to grab my brother's old monitor. It isn't a flat screen, which is why he doesn't use it anymore, but it's a smaller screen than my monitor, and I LOVE the large screen, so that wouldn't work. So.... I took my dad's old monitor. Again, not a flat screen, my dad upgraded last year.

The flipping thing takes up the entire desk! ROFL. Luckily it ends just short of the ledge, but the ledge isn't wide enough for the keyboard, (which is an oooold keyboard cuz I got sick of my stupid wireless keyboard) so now the keyboard sits in my lap. It's... different. And odd, because I'm not used to the screen being so close to me. lol.

Going back to Torn. Once my project was finished, I grabbed her and took some more pics.

She shares the same freckle on her shoulder as me, and those are supposed to be scars on her leg - also something she and I share. I made her right after the breakup. I remember getting some sort of morbid satisfaction in "tearing her heart out." I had originally made a small heart that was to be on the wood with her, surrounded by a pool of blood, but in the end, I couldn't find a place I liked it in. Just didn't look right. So she doesn't have a heart. I'm not sure if I like her better laying on her hair, or with her hair to the side. *shrugs*

There is closing. I can't believe it. It's been around for 7 years, I've been There for over 5. It's... incredibly sad. I'd always considered There my "second home". And then when my mom gambled away the mortgage a few years back, and we lost the house, (my first home) There was bumped up a notch. I'm probably going to write up a blog post sometime soon to share the fun of There. Tuesday it will be gone. I... *sigh*
That's me and my There Best Friend. Taken last night. We're sitting on the steps of a stage in our Wordgrove community. I'm so tired right now, so I think I might try sleeping, but I plan on going in tonight to take as many pictures as I can of everything. My box, all of Wordgrove, other areas that stand out to me. I wish they didn't spring this announcement so quickly. They made the announcement this past Tuesday. "Hi! We're closing There forever in one week. K bye!" It's so frustrating. Sooo frustrating. I wish I had a month. I might have been able to get together one last WG News. (I'd made two in the past, they're just silly comic-strip-type thingers) But less than one week isn't enough time. This is just so sad.

That's my paz. (portable zone) When we lost the house, I felt so homeless, I took residence in Wordgrove. I'd been a part of their community for a while, but never actually had a paz in the area. I put out a cardboard box, some bedding, a tree, and a milk crate.
I'd upgraded to a couch when I needed a two seater
And over the years I've done slight tweaking here and there. I dun remember if I have pictures of them all. This past December I replaced the willow with a christmas tree, replaced the ghetto couch with a park bench, added a pile of snow, a snowman, and a "happy birthday" balloon. (My birthday is in December.) And then for spring I changed the tree again, (seen in the first box pic) and found this awesome ginormous bench. I had flowers and a hummingbird too, took em down for something and forgot to put them back up. I'll have to remember to stick them back up before I start taking pics tonight. In the last pic there, I'm wearing a jacket and jeans that I designed. The jacket was a special "club jacket" I made especially for Wordgrove.

We're Wordgrove Nutters. I had originally made Wordgrove shirts:

And then during the second of my "WG News" bits, I decided I wanted to advertise my Wordgrove shirts... but an ad for just two shirts didn't seem enough. So I made a jacket. Yep.

Anyhoo, I think I'm off for now. Might try napping. Toodles/

And now for a commercial break.

So... I was thinking... about past shows... and parts that made me laugh...

Can anyone else relate? Remember watching a television show when you were younger, (or even recently) and catching a part of it that made you laugh hysterically... and never forgot it? I went searching for clips to share with you my laughs. Hee hee.

First... we have Married with Children. (About 5 minutes and 37 seconds in to the show.)
Buck, (the dog) in an attempt to prove he's not senile, decides to bury a bone. (actually an anniversary present for Peggy.) He bumps in to the coffee table and says "oh, excuse me madam." (rofl) He finds the "bone" and on the way to the backyard, bumps in to the couch. "Will you stop following me?!" (ROFLMAO)

Here's a link to the specific time it happens.

Next, there's Murphy Brown. Yep, I used to watch Murphy Brown when I was a kid... as in like... 5-7 years old. lol. Only one part of Murphy Brown stood out for me though. (about 1 minute and 24 seconds in to this clip) Murphy is at the hospital, basically ready to pop, but not just yet. She goes for a walk around the halls, and while she's with Miles, she starts to yell in pain. Miles, quick thinker that he is, dove to catch the baby - should the baby just pop right out. Hehe haha. That part was hiLARIOUS to me even as a kid.

A link to the specific time it happens - though the part before it is pretty funny too. hehe.

Sadly, I have one more specific funny scene I remember, but Fox apparently doesn't allow the Simpsons to be thrown on Youtube, so I was unable to find a clip of it. (Booooooo) I shall just have to explain. It's on the show "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad Marge" or something like that. (season 11, episode 21) I think Marge is on the phone in the kitchen, and Homer wanders in happily, sits, puts his hand on the table, and pulls out a knife. He then plays a knife game - the one where you quickly try and jab the knife in between your fingers - the object being to not hit your fingers. (what an incredibly stupid game) Homer... is not very good at this game. He hits his fingers with every single jab, saying "ow" each time.
Marge finally says over her shoulder (I think) "Homer, quit playing knife games at the kitchen table."
To which Homer responds, while holding his bloodied hand, "I didn't hit your precious table."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... Hehehe...

And here's another moment I, again, was unable to find a youtube link to, which is sad. And frustrating. How could people get so much of the rest of the infomercial, and not the best part?! It happens on Nads. Nads is an all natural hair removal system... similar to waxing I believe.

The ladies are all sitting at a table, and one says something like "you know, I hate harsh chemicals, because I have small children, and I'm so afraid they'll get into something they shouldn't."
The nads lady says, "Oh! Well, you know, Nads is all natural, so you can eat it if you want! Here! Try some!"
*All ladies "dig in" with exclamations of "mmm!"*
One lady, "Now I have two reasons to buy Nads! To remove hair, and to put it on my toast!"

....

....

...WHAT!? This part of the infomercial made me laugh hysterically because um... they're eating hair remover. EXCUSE ME??? How is this going to make me want to buy Nads?! I sat with a horrified look on my face during the entire scene until the "toast" bit. THAT'S what set me off on a fit of hysterical laughter. YEAH! Let's pay tons of money for a hair removal system... and then just use it as an alternative to butter on toast! YAAAY!

Apparently though, (found while I was trying to find SOME footage of this scene) some dude did try to eat it, and basically gave it a fairly yummy review.

Another one was Family Guy, (can't find the youtube for it...again.) Peter finds that his house is not on the map, and therefore not a part of the US. He dubs his land "Petoria." (Peterland was already taken by a gay bar.) Lois is giving the news a tour of their land and mentions that they're hoping to get to the moon soon. Cut to nighttime - Chris, at the top of their tree in the backyard, reaching for the moon saying "almost.... almost.... aaahh!" *falls* "They should really leave this to monkeys."
HAHAHAHAHA... It's the reaching for the moon from a tree that gets me. HEeee

Another laugh was always had with Whose Line is it Anyway? I used to watch the UK version at all odd hours of the night... when I was in middle school. Ha. I'd "go to sleep," then sneak out of my room, and watch in the living room. No easy feat when you consider the fact that my mother, brother and I all shared the same big bedroom. Haha. Tony Slattery was my favorite one on there, followed by Colin Mochrie. Loved them. Ryan was cool too. I used to actually remember parts that were funny... but there's just so much to remember! lol.
A link to tee hee.

The US version of Whose Line was pretty awesome too. I'm so glad Colin and Ryan were still there. Hehe.

ha.... okay, so maybe my moments of hysterical laughter are "speshul". :P I only bring these up because I recently came across the Married with Children episode on TV, and it still brought tears to my eyes. Hee. Anyone else have moments they'd like to share? :D

Distractions

[Please note: this entry was actually written yesterday, but I was a good girl and decided to work more on my project rather than worry about uploading the pictures that went with this rambling... of course... I decided to upload the pictures now... so... yeah... back to work I go.]
Distractions... Ugh. UGH. I despise distractions. And I am oh so easily distracted. No time! NO TIME NOXY! Need this project done in about a month!! Stop STARING at the cute guy on YOUTUBE and GET BACK TO WORK!!! Someone beat me with a mirror of erised so I can see what I DESIRE and get it DONE.

Youtube aside.. Linny was sitting on my desk. Looking sad. Because I seemed to have misplaced her purple wig... so she's bald. (In the last post of her, I threw some green wool over her head... pretended it was a hat. Ha) And dunno if you noticed, but she was wearing a sock. Ha. I was pretending it was a night gown. I never got around to putting her outfit back on after halloween... and she couldn't keep parading around as a ninja turtle... she was scaring my other dolls... so I had her in the "nightgown". And so anyway, she was sitting on my desk. I'm actually not sure if she was "sad." Mayhaps more "frustrated." Or "angry." Or "EXCUSE ME... why the EFF am I sitting here BALD in a SOCK?!"

So... instead of searching for her signature outfit (her barbie halter/olive jeans/hoodie) or the outfit I made her, (blue leotard and a tutu) I once again raided my barbie bag, and found her some clothes. Another halter, and some bermuda shorts. At least... I think they're bermuda shorts. I fail at fashion. I also gave her an annina scarf to wear, since it's a bit chilly. And then I made her a wig. Cuz her new outfit doesn't count unless she has hair. So here she is:
I gave her an ice cream from my Tencats stash to try and placate her. She seems satisfied now. So all is well. Her new hair is poofy. It makes me giggle. Hehe.

Then, while getting back to work on my entry, I decided I wanted to share my ghetto tools for clay making. So I took a pic. Tada:

The mechanical pencil and the scrapbook stylus thinger are both used very rarely.

The item I use most/all the time is the exacto knife.

The 8-way nail file thing is a new addition. I realized I needed some fine sand paper, but I'd used it all! And I'm currently broke... so then what?? Well, last time I was at the Dollar Tree, (everything for $1 or less... woot!) I realized my 4-way nail file/polish block thing was worn out, so I should get another one. I upgraded to the 8-way... but never opened it. I saw it the other day while wondering what I would do for sand paper... and voila! It works great. I only use the first 4 boards - extra coarse, coarse, medium, and fine. I'm so going back to the Dollar Tree sometime to get another one. For when I run this one down. lol.

And the perfume bottle is my rolling pin. Woot. It's an old scent by mark. And by old I mean like... 6 years old. lol. I bought this one (grapefruit ginger) along with another, (kiwi lotus) and absolutely loved one, hated the other. Which one is this? Well... you might not be able to notice from the picture, but there's still scent in it for a reason. XD

So yep, those are my clay making tools. Other than those, I use my hands. Woot. Ghetto tools. Hee hee haha.

Then I decided I needed a "kill me now" treat.

The reason ice cream is a "kill me now" treat is because.. well, I'm not supposed to have dairy. Dairy hates me. And yet... here I am... eating ice cream with whipped cream on top... damn that Linny... she made me want ice cream I tell ya.

SO.... while I was actually working on the project... I... well, this is probably well known if you read this blog often, but I'm accident prone. Add that to the fact that my weapon of choice against the war of clay is an exacto knife? Disastrous. Clay making is a dangerous hobby. So I try to be extra careful. But... then I get distracted... or forget... and BAM!

My first reaction when cut?
"is it going to bleed?"
Why? Well, because only when it bleeds do I deem it necessary to apply first aid skills to it. I cut/scrape/slice/maim myself entirely too often to worry about first aiding every injury.. I hate bandages on my hands while I'm working... or well, anytime. I also hate gloves. Don't cover my hands! Grrr!

So it bleeds. My next thought?
"That blood looks so fake..."
Yeah... no explanation there. Maybe it's been a while since I've seen my own blood?

So, yeah, it's bleeding. Right. Now it stings. First aid next? Nope.
"Picture!"

Oooh yeah... I know you were wanting to see the thin bleeding scratch on my hand. Yep.

It's washed, hydrogen peroxided, neosporined, and bandaged now. And because it's in an awkward place, the bandage keeps popping off when I work. GRrrr!

NOW... now... enough talky talky. Back to worky worky. I'm doing well I think on my project. I wish I could be more specific... but as it is a surprise... *gags herself with a piece of soggy steamed okra*

...what? Steamed okra makes me gag. Bleh. Nasteh.

Two posts in one month!

omg! Another entry! Within days of the last! Totally on a roll! Hooray! Mind you, it's the last day in January... so I can't do more than two entries this month.... but you know... whatever...

Not much to say today, so I'm not so sure why I'm even posting. ROFL. Oh well.

Anyhoo, so Tencats got my present yesterday! Hooray!
It looks like for the most part it came unharmed.
I can see the "sand" mixed a bit. I had hoped I packed it well enough. Makes me wonder how the other dand thinger to my secret santa lady is doing... cuz I dunno if that one's arrived to her yet. Yay for a bottle of ugly colored chalk dust! D'oh!

On another note.... my "clean desk" has not stayed that way for long.
Dunno HOW it happened.... was like POOF. While waiting for a piece of my contest entry to bake, I decided to add hair to the lil character I pointed out in the picture from the last entry. The one I made in December.

There she is! Tis only a preview piccy. She's actually a full body piece. More runny eye makeup, but in her defense, she came to be WEEKS before There "Sadness". I had planned on taking pictures of her as soon as the glue dried, but then my contest entry project started up again, so I left her be. I'll get pics of her eventually.

So I got my presents from both Tencats and my secret santa person, Annina. Woot! First, my pressies from Tencats:

Tee hee! Isn't they lovely! It's all a bunch of yummy goodies!! So awesome. It all looks soo delicious and adorable. She uses colored clays, which I love, but can't afford to buy so many colors for my own projects. I is too broke. Have to buy plain white and paint it. lol. It's hard to choose a favorite from all these nummers. It's probably the plate full of ice cream though. It has strawberries and whipped cream and nuts and a li'l chocolate sandwich cookie! TOO CUTE! Teeeeeeeeheeee

Next up, annina's gift!

I loves it! The scarves are so cute, and perfect in colors. One nice and bright for happier days, and one dark and grey for gloomy days. Woot! And the cute lil Dairy Moo, and the lucky crystal, and the INSTA ED!!! Weeeee! I'll have an ED in no time! :D

I love presents. I giggle uncontrollably while opening them. Normally not a problem, since I'm normally shut in my room so no one hears, but while I was opening annina's gift, I happened to be on skype with a buddy... so he kept laughing at me. Must have thought I was a nutjob. But hehe!! I can't help it! Gifts are always so fun! Packages are fun too! Even if I know what's in it, it's still fun to open. Weeeee! Okay... okay... so it's 420am. And I'm beat. Need sleep. *hugs blog world*

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Hello again.

Hey there world. Long time no speak. I think I've taken a long enough break from my blog. I think.

I've... come to terms with the break up I think. Deep down, I'm not sure if he ever really loved me, and if that's the case, I'm glad we went our separate ways. Now if only I could get around to cleaning my room - so I can get all his stuff to him. But my room cleaning aspirations were put on hold for the January Secret Santa project. And they continue to stay on hold until after the ED Birthday Contest.

More on both of those in a moment. Right now I'd like to share a photo:
That is a picture of my car's mileage. 150,000. Ha. I was happy to be the one driving the car when it hit this milestone, and grateful my dad didn't freak out when I pulled over to take a quick picture with my phone. Haha.

Two of the five cars in our household were broken this month. My mom's and my dad's. My brother and his gf are always really busy though, and I'm still unemployed, so I was given the job of chauffeur this month. Just great. I don't normally mind, but I had projects to do this month, and what with me driving back and forth between my mom's job and the train station to pick my dad up... at 9pm, 6am, 8am, and 6pm... every day... plus the sleep or lack thereof I should have been participating in... my mind was mush for most of this month. The good news? All Monday I spent driving around with my mum while waiting for her car to get fixed at the mechanics... so now her car is all better. Which means instead of me being the driver, I can stay home and my dad can just take my car. That means I can't go anywhere until after 630pm or so... but hey, works for me.

In the middle of my Secret Santa projects, my There writing community, Wordgrove, had their annual writing contest. They have three categories - poetry, "journey" (journal/blog/random?), and prose - and then there's a "My Way" table for those who choose not to be in the voting, but still participate. Then there's a winner (silver quill award) for each of the three categories - won by popular vote, and one "gold torch" - which is awarded to the person of the creator of the contest's choosing. This is the contest's sixth year. For the first four years, I'd won in Prose. Then I was asked by the creator to step down from competing. lol. So last year, I threw a piece on to the My Way table... and he awarded me with the gold torch award. XD

Soooo, after winning for five years in a row, I'm no longer counted towards the voting. lol. But I still threw something on the My Way table, and this year I decided to include my current fascination with clay:
She looks out a window. It's bright out. She's wearing cheerfully loud and happy colors. The sun winks at her. She smiles. She looks deeper. The sky darkens. The smile fades. Clouds overcast. Her eyes mimic the shadows. It's raining. Hard. She's crying. Lightning blinks. A flash of pain blinds her momentarily. As the blood runs down her arm, she can't help but wonder - was she looking out a window? Or was she looking in?

Yeah, really short entry, but it's what came to mind, then I made a clay figure to match. She's based on my There avie:
Tis an outfit she wears often.

Anyhoo... other than my noxy clay thinger, I'd been working on my Secret Santa projects. I have one person I was assigned to, then chose to do an exchange with Tencats as well. I'm soooo glad I chose that too, because I love love LOVE her gift. It's a table with little foodie goodies on it. So cute! She uses colored clay to make her goodies, which is something I've wanted to try doing, but in the end, plain white clay is so much cheaper than the colored clay - so I make everything out of white and then paint it. I haven't taken a picture of my present from Tencats yet, but I shall soon.

The presents I made my peoples are similar, but have slight differences - be it in color or type or whatever. I hope they like em! I really sorta went random with my presents... there's no theme. Just a bunch of stuff thrown together. Haha.

Moving on. Now that I've finally finished the SS projects, I can start on that birthday entry. I'm freaking out, because I'm not sure if I can do everything I plan on doing. But then I can't say what I'm doing, because I want it all to be a surprise... we'll just say I'm fully planning on giving my all for it. I know there are dozens of exceptionally talented artists whom are fans of Marina, so I need to go big or go home if I want any chance at the contest. The best part of the contest is the fact that I'll be able to actually send my present to Marina, someone whom I've much admired and basically been obsessed with, for years. No matter what the result of the contest is, I'll still be happy, provided she likes my gift. Hehe.

So I moved my workstation... again. First it was in one section of the basement... then it moved to another part... then another part... and then it moved upstairs to the family room that never gets used... then to the dining room that rarely gets used... then to the living room that only I use apparently... and now it's in my bedroom. Which, is good and bad. Because my room is still a horrid mess. And then the small area I have for makings went from small to smaller to non existent with my SS project, so I had to re-clean it.
This is my workspace cleaned. So that bit right there with the tape on it is the main working area. Then everything else is gathered around it... not to mention the open bags and boxes that are on the floor wrapped around the wall to the right there... I so need shelves in my room. Ha. Oh gosh, and the fact that this is supposed to be a built in vanity table means there's a mirror... so there's my unmatching jammies and part of the mess that's taken over my room behind me.
In the midst of this clean mess, there are two things additionally on my to-do list. For those who can recognize EDs by photo, under Banshee you can see a partially hidden figure. She's done except for hair. I just haven't gotten around to finishing that. She was what I worked on immediately following the breakup... so bear that in mind when I show her finished - whenever that may be. The other thing on my to do list is a simpler one... it's the envelope over by my teddy on the right. I need to mail it sometime. lol. Simple enough right? Smack a stamp on it and shove it in a mailbox. Nah, too simple. My stamps are forever stamps. And I hear those are useless when trying to mail something overseas. And this particular envelope is supposed to headed to Australia. Which means I need to get to a post office to buy the right postage for it. Which means I need a car to go before the Post Office closes at 4pm... and my dad has my car until 6pm. So yeah... challenge!! My mom's out of town for a couple days... so I guess I'm hoping I'll be able to steal my car on Saturday morning before my dad needs to use it. I SHOULD have mailed it out while I was mailing out the SS stuff... but yeah I forgot about it. Oops.

So yeah... anyway, enough basic info and ramblings. I must get my ideas in order to start this contest project. Wish me luck!!
